Why Downgrade from Android 11 to Android 9 (Version 8.2.1)?

Why downgrade from Android 11 on the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019? Because let’s face it, Android 11 is complete trash and designed to stop you from using APKs on the device to access free paid TV content. Android 11 comes with tons of issues starting with the Plex Media Server and Kodi. It’s easier now than ever to downgrade the Nvidia Shield Pro back to Android 9 version 8.2.1.

Then once you are done with the downgrade you can block the update to Android 11 completely from here on out. Never see another popup at the top of the screen about upgrading to Android 11 again. Do read this next part carefully because there are some things you will need to complete the downgrade of the Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019. You want to downgrade first because Android 11 has a block on a ton of great APKs. Yes, these systems can block APKs, so it’s very important to be on a software system that gives you more control over what you load onto the device.
